Grade 12 at Last!!
I am sure you are all super excited to be back at Byng for your final year!
This is what super excited might look like-
I know you will all want to get started on your GT so I will be coming into your English classes in a while to talk it over with you.
You can get started right now though by printing out the GT Checklist over to the left.
GT is a requirement for graduation.

Staying connected with our teen as he/she navigates the teen years including addressing issues around sexuality and sexual health, may seem challenging to many parents. The truth is, now - more than ever - it is important to have a solid and open relationship with your teen.
Lisa Shopland-Black, Lord Byng Health and Career Educator, Tamara Mckay, Lord Byng Grade 9 Counsellor, and Dr. Colleen Kirkham, family physician and clinical professor at UBC in the Department of Family Practice, are strong advocates for parents cultivating and maintaining an open dialogue with teens about their sexuality, sexual health, their relationships, issues around internet pornography and choices around intimacy.
